More pasta, please? – Florence, Italy // Europe Trip

After the beauty of Cinque Terre the group headed on a train to Pisa to see the one and only leaning tower of Pisa and take a cliche photo leaning on the tower. We then headed to Florence, Italy and when we finally got to the hotel, Serena and I crashed on our beds and took a very long nap. We were SO happy to finally have reliable air conditioning and wifi. It’s cliche but.. WHEN IN ROME! – July 1st & 2nd, 2014

We left the cruise ship today, very sad, but it was quite bittersweet. I am oh so excited to be in Florence, Italy now that I could pinch myself! Continue reading “Hi Italy, where have you been all my life? -June 28th, 2014”

Stranded in Sorrento: June 27th, 2014

It seems pretty clear that tour guides can be problematic and often not the bang you were hoping to get for your buck. SO my parents and the other’s of the families we are on this cruise with decided we should take a break for a day and instead of waking up early for the tour like the rest of the people on this cruise, we should just explore ourselves and wing it. Didn’t exactly work out the way we had hoped. Continue reading “Stranded in Sorrento: June 27th, 2014”
